Born and raised on Maui, Max has spent years performing throughout the island—from local venues and private events to weddings and larger celebrations.
As the founder of MAXED Maui, he combines vocals, guitar and live looping to build a full sound in real time, while also handling the production side that keeps an event running smoothly.
Whether performing solo, alongside another musician or with the full band, Max’s approach stays the same: play for the room, keep it live and make the music fit the moment.
IKAIKA TEXEIRA
Vocals · Guitar · Bass
A versatile Maui musician with a natural feel for island music, reggae and crowd favorites, Ikaika brings strong vocals, musicianship and an easygoing energy to MAXED Maui.
Whether performing as part of the duo or full band, he adds another layer of harmony and sound while keeping the performance relaxed, authentic and connected to the crowd.
KAWIKA APO
Vocals · Guitar · Drums
Kawika brings years of Maui performance experience, strong musicianship and an easy versatility to the MAXED Maui lineup.
Moving comfortably between island music, reggae, rock and crowd favorites, he helps give the duo and full-band configurations the flexibility to match the music and energy to the event.
SEAN KIM
Sound Engineer · Audio Production
Sean handles the technical side of MAXED Maui, helping make sure every performance sounds as good as it should.
From system setup and sound checks to live mixing throughout the event, he keeps the audio clean, balanced and appropriate for the space—allowing the musicians to focus on the performance while the production runs smoothly behind the scenes.
